It’s all about U!

There is more to getting a great portrait then showing up, sitting down, looking at the camera and smiling.  Don’t be another number at a high volume portrait studio; get a truly unique and personalized session instead.  Great portraits come from an organic connection between the photographer, the subject, the lighting and the backdrop.  It is this connection that I try to create with all of my subjects and this connection that is reflected in my images.

As a professional photographer it is my job to capture the essence of a person. This requires that I get to know my subjects before a shoot begins.  That is why I try to meet with my clients before a session. If I can’t meet my clients I will ask questions on the phone or in an email.  Twenty minutes can go a long way when it comes to capturing your personality and creating images that reflect who you are.

Every session is shot on location.  This can be done at your house, a park, downtown, at the University or anywhere that might be special to you.  You can also bring along any props that you like.  If you’re a football player bring your helmet and pads.  If you’re a musician bring your guitar.  If you like snakes, bring them.  Again, it’s about creating images of you.

I guarantee that you will love your photos*.  If you don’t like them we will schedule free session.  There is no time limit or limit on the number of photos I take during a portrait sessions.  No time limit equals maximum opportunities.

I create images the look naturally beautiful, not stiff or posed. I create images that capture your emotions, your expressions, U.

It’s all about U!

*I will not schedule a free session if poor image quality is a result of client negligence. Some examples of client negligence include; poor clothing choices, bad hair cuts, being late or missing a shoot, forgetting props, etc.
